Eligibility requirements
Before beginning a PhD project, please ensure that you meet the eligibility requirements, which depend on your degree and English language proficiency.
Requirement master’s degree
An internationally recognized master’s degree in a relevant field (equivalent to a Dutch master's degree). All European MSc degrees are accepted.
Requirements English language
A strong command of the English language, as only candidates proficient in English will be considered for PhD positions.
An English proficiency test (test results no older than 2 years) is required for admission to our Graduate School. Our admissions entry level is level 3, CEFR C1. The test results have to meet the minimal requirements detailed below.
