NEV Dissertation Award
The NEV Dissertation Award – a certificate + 1250 Euros – is offered each year by the Dutch Entomological Society (NEV in Dutch) for the best dissertation in the field of Entomology. Eligible for the award are dissertations that have been defended during the preceding academic year (that is, between 1 August and 31 July) at one of the Dutch universities. The board of the Section ‘Entomologendag’ pre-selects the best three dissertations and forward these to the society’s main board for the final verdict. The award is handed out on the Entomology Dag in December.
