Irene Tieleman elected Honorary Fellow of the American Ornithological Society
Irene Tieleman, professor of ecological & evolutionary physiology of birds and former Rosalind Franklin fellow in the Groningen Institute for Evolutionary Life Sciences, has been elected as Honorary Fellow of the American Ornithological Society. The Honorary Fellows are limited to 100, are chosen for exceptional ornithological eminence and, because of geography, primary disciplinary focus, and/or other professional reasons, typically have not been members of the American Ornithological Society.
