3rd Pusan-Groningen International Forum: “Changing Environment of Korean Peninsula and its Impacts on East Asia" (Busan, Korea)

A delegation of University of Groningen researchers visited the Pusan National University for a two-day forum “Changing Environment of Korean Peninsula and its Impacts on East Asia" (25-26 April). During the forum faculty of PNU and Groningen exchanged views on the changing geopolitical environment on the Korean Peninsula and East Asia.
The forum has been organized by the PNU-Groningen Research Center (PGRC) and continues the dialogue between researchers from both universities. This year, the Korea-EU forum co-organized the event.
The symposium follows on the Korea Workshop 2014 hosted in Groningen on the occasion of the opening of the Korea Corner, and the 2016 launch conference The Challenges of Middle Powers: the Netherlands and Korea hosted by PNU in 2016. Other PGRC activities include the Annual Winter and Summer Schools hosted in Groningen by GSG/CEASG for Korean students.
During the 2019 visit, the participants also explored further cooperation under the PGRC agreements, including continued faculty exchange and cooperation for joint research activities.
