China-Link short-term scholarship programme 2023-2024 opens for applications

The CSC China-Link Scholarship programme 2023-2024 is now open for applications. It's a scholarship provided by the China Scholarship Council for short-term studies or visits (1-12 months) to Chinese universities.

Candidates can be full-time students (undergraduates/post-graduates) or employed as full-time academic staff (PhDs/researchers).

The scholarship covers: tuition fee, free on-campus accommodation, monthly stipend: CNY 3,000 for general scholar/ CNY 3,500 for senior scholar and comprehensive medical insurance.

Detailed application requirements and procedures can be found in the attached instruction documents. The instruction for using the CSC online application system and other relevant documents, such as the health statement, non-criminal statement etc., will be provided to students after ISR receives your nomination.

Please note, UG students need to get a pre-admission letter from the host Chinese university to apply for this scholarship. For academic staff (PhDs/researchers) applicants, the application might need to go through knowledge security desk before the ISR nomination to CSC.

Duration:

1-12 months. Study duration of this summer session 2023 must be between any date from now and August 31st, 2023; Study duration of the 2023-2024 academic year must be between September 1st, 2023 and August 31st, 2024.

• The deadline for nomination of the fall session 2023 is 30 May 2023
• The deadline for nomination of the spring session 2024 is 30 November 2023
• The deadline for nomination of the summer session 2024 is 30 March 2024
