CEASG receives Korea Foundation-grant

07 January 2020

CEASG is delighted to receive a grant from the Korea Foundation for its research programme “Economic, Legal and Political Influences on Korea-EU Economic Diplomacy”. The grant proposal was submitted by CEASG’s Prof. Jan van der Harst, Dr. Sunkung Choi, Dr. Frank Gaenssmantel and Prof. Tjalling Halbertsma. The programme builds upon CEASG’s earlier research project on China-EU economic diplomacy, supported by the KNAW. The Korea Foundation is a longstanding partner of CEASG, having supported the appointment of a lecturer in Koran Studies, various research projects on, for instance, Carbon Emission Trading and the Korean Studies holdings at the universities Main Library.
