Center for Japan Studies
The Center is explicitly devoted to serving the city of Groningen, the northern Provinces of the Netherlands and the Hanse Euro-region in northwestern Europe.
This is done by:

Creating specific 'Executive Courses' about Japan for management personnel in business and government.

Giving support to fact-finding missions to Japan from the perspectives of the business community, the city and regional institutions.

Offering lectures for the general public.

Organizing cultural events
