Stable Isotopes
The Center of Isotope Research determines the relative concentrations of the stable isotopes 2H (deuterium), 13C and 18O. The anaysis is executed for own research as well as for customers. Research fields include;
Isotope dating
With isotope dating, the unstable isoptope 14C can only be measured by AMS but the stable isotope 13C can be measured more accurate with a smaller mass-spectrometer. A large number of mass-spectrometers is used for optimal measurement of all types of samples. High quality results result are obtained due to careful sample preparation and quality control.
