Research Bernoulli Institute Dynamical Systems, Geometry & Mathematical Physics (DSGMP)

Collaboration and Highlights

Our research is embedded in several collaborations on  international and national level and at the University of Groningen including the Kapteyn Astronomical Institute, the Zernike Institute for Advanced Materials and CogniGron. The group is part of the NWO mathematics cluster NDNS+ and its board. The group is active in the theme Data Science and Systems Complexity within which presently two PhD projects are funded. The group’s international  visibility is reflected in the co-organization of several international conferences with recent examples  including the Lorentz Center workshop Symplectic Dynamics and Equadiff 2019, both in Leiden, the Chern Institute of Mathematics in Tianjin, China, and the Telluride Research Center in Colorado.
