CBird meeting 2016

On April 5-7, 2016, the Netherlands organised an Arctic Migratory Birds Initiative implementation workshop at NIOZ, Texel.

AMBI, in cooperation with the Government of the Netherlands, hosted an implementation meeting in Texel, Netherlands April 5-7, 2016 to accomplish the following:

• Review progress to date of implementation of actions identified in the Arctic Migratory Birds Initiative Work Plan 2015-2019
• Discuss strategic approaches to acquire funds to implement action items identified within the East Asian Australasian Flyway and African-Eurasian Flyway as outlined in the Arctic Migratory Birds Initiative Work Plan 2015-2019
• Determine the roles that attending participants may play in fundraising and/or action item implementation within the East Asian Australasian and African-Eurasian Flyways as outlined in the Arctic Migratory Birds Initiative Work Plan 2015-2019
• Develop partnerships around specific action items identified in the Arctic Migratory Birds Initiative Work Plan 2015-2019
• Identify, develop and document next steps towards accomplishing action items within the Arctic Migratory Birds Initiative Work Plan 2015-2019
