Studying abroad
As part of the LLB, you will go abroad in your 3rd year. Below you can find all necessary information to prepare your stay abroad.

Late registrations are not accepted. Ensure you submit your application on time.
Course selection for your exchange

The study abroad period is compulsory for students in the LLB programme International and European Law.

Scheduled for the first semester of year 3, this exchange offers 30 ECTS of optional courses.

You can choose any law course not included in the LLB programme, as well as related non-law courses (e.g., criminology, international relations, political science, philosophy of law, etc.).

At least 25 ECTS must be law credits. Course categorisation is determined by the Board of Examiners.
Course approval process
All courses need to be approved by the Board of Examiners. Submit the approval form courses abroad for LLB students for approval. Make sure to apply for approval for as many courses as possible, so you will not have to repeat the application multiple times.
Registration of results
Results from approved courses will be registered in Progress as separate courses with individual results.
