Dr Evgeni Moyakine and Dr Nynke Vellinga appointed as Jantina Tammes School scholars

Evgeni Moyakine (associate professor of IT law) and Nynke Vellinga (senior researcher of technology law), both part of the Transboundary Legal Studies Department of our faculty, have been appointed JTS Scholars by the Jantina Tammes School. They will be actively involved in achieving the School's mission from 1 January 2025.
Digital prosperity for all
Moyakine and Vellinga were named JTS Scholars along with eight other researchers. This prestigious appointment recognizes their contribution to interdisciplinary research and their dedication to the mission of the School and its motto, articulated as follows: ‘Digital prosperity for all’.
Jantina Tammes School programme
In the coming year, Moyakine and Vellinga will work for the Jantina Tammes School to share knowledge, foster collaboration and organize interdisciplinary events. They will also participate in research projects that connect academia with society.
The Jantina Tammes School programme is aimed at researchers at the University of Groningen, from postdocs to professors. New researchers are admitted to the program every six months.
