UG team made it to the finals and won best oralist award at French Human Rights Moot Court

12 December 2022

We are delighted to announce that the team which represented the UG Faculty of Law in the 2022 edition of the French Language Moot Court Competition of Budapest on human rights (Concours de plaidoirie francophone de Budapest – Edition 2022) made it to the finals!

This is to congratulate our students Ms Clara Alexander, Ms Elisa Cogitore and Ms Alessia Salvaneschi, who competed on 8 December 2022 for the UG, along with Ms Monique Kalsi, their coach who also accompanied them to Budapest.

A special distinction was awarded to Ms Clara Alexander for the best non-French oralist (Applicant) who won an internship at Cabinet Simmons & Simmons in Paris.

The Competition took place under the auspices of the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme 'Digitalization - Economic and Social Impacts - Challenges in Labor Law' (2022/2023). Dr Katerina Tsampi and Ms Monique Kalsi, from the Department of Transboundary Legal Studies, were responsible for the preparation of the UG team. Ms Kirsten Wolkotte, Coordinator of the International Office Faculty of Law, was the UG representative of the programme from the administration.
