Death of lawyer and alumnus Mr. Derk Wiersum
Yesterday we received the shocking news that criminal lawyer Derk Wiersum, alumnus of our Faculty, was killed in Amsterdam. It is a terrible personal tragedy for his family and friends, but also an unacceptable violation of everything we stand for in our constitutional state.
The Faculty sympathises with his family and loved ones.
