Dr Aikaterini Tsampi presents research at the 7th Annual Global Conference of the YCC-ASCL
On Saturday April 21st, Dr Aikaterini Tsampi presented her research at the Seventh Annual Global Conference of the Younger Comparativists Committee of the American Society of Comparative Law, which took place in Cleveland, Ohio (USA) at the Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
Dr. Tsampi presented a paper entitled 'The Impossible Comparatist?: The European Court of Human Rights & the Separation of Powers'. Tsampi’s presentation focused on whether the comparative method is pertinent when the doctrine of the separation of powers within a given State comes into the fray of the judicial reasoning of the Court.
Dr. Aikaterini (Katerina) Tsampi is an Assistant Professor of Public International Law at the University of Groningen since October 2017.
