Prof. Kochenov's research featured in the New Yorker magazine

Prof. Dimitry Kochenov's research on the Quality of Nationality around the world conducted together with Henley & Partners, the world leading citizenship and residence planning law firm, has been featured on the New Yorker.com. The magazine described the methodology of the Quality of Nationality Index and also provided a vivid glimpse of the launch event at Park Hyatt in Zürich on June 2. Most importantly, the reporter rightly pointed out the rich A.V. Dicey-predicted trends in the development of nationality and belonging in the world today, which are at the basis of Kochenov's thinking about citizenship and nationality. The hand-woven green polka-dot bow tie from Seigo in New York, which Prof. Kochenov was wearing at the launch also received appropriate attention. The article is not without a drawback: the fundamental point about the Quality of Nationality Idea as designed by Kochenov together with Christian Kälin of Henley & Partners is that it equally affect everyone, not only the poor, but also the rich, not only the well-educated, but also illiterate.
