Honorary doctorate for Hisashi Owada

University of Groningen honours President of the International Court of Justice

In celebration of its 395th anniversary, on 5 June 2009 the University of Groningen has awarded a double honorary doctorate to Prof. Hisashi Owada, President of the International Court of Justice in the Hague and Professor of Japan-European Relations at the University of Leiden.
