Before I have started to study at University of Groningen i already knew the city and its fantastic atmosphere so that was no surprise anymore when i finally came here in August.

The main reason why I decided to study in Groningen was the possibility to broaden my knowledge in the field of international private law. From the time I got to know about the International and Comparative Private Law LLM programme in Groningen there was no alternative or second choice. Reach and interesting range of possible subjects, the practical approach and flexible system of studying gave me an opportunity to extend my knowledge in international private law and International Jurisdiction and gain a valuable experience. Next to the lectures, seminars and working groups there is a wide range of leisure activities available in Groningen. Besides my studies I could continue to play volleyball at VV Kroton – a student volleyball club. Furthermore, there are a lot of cultural events and excursions, which all together keeps a student life in balance. But the most important, that what makes studying here a memorable adventure, are the people. Friends, I can say now. They made me feel at home, thousand kilometers from my country.

I believe that the knowledge and experience gained during my time at University of Groningen will make the dreams of a professional career come true.
