This year’s topic will be 'One for all and all for one: the impact of coalitions on international humanitarian law'. Dr Annyssa Bellal is a Senior Research Fellow and Strategic Adviser in International Humanitarian Law at the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights.
The yearly Avril McDonald lecture will be organized by the Department Transboundary Legal Studies of the Faculty of Law. This lecture is dedicated to Avril McDonald, a scholar in the fields of international humanitarian law and international criminal law, who passed away in 2010 at the age of 44.
