When to do an internship?

We encourage you to do internship in the third year of your bachelor's, or during your master. This is because you have more specific knowledge from your law studies to put into practice.

Do your internship in a block / semester in which you have few courses or where you have the least number of required courses. That way you can prevent your study from being delayed. It is possible to pursue both your curriculum and your internship simultaneously, so you can take courses alongside your internship. Performing an internship, however, requires a lot of attention and energy. We recommend you not to follow all the courses next to your placement within your curriculum. Make a choice in the courses you want to do during your internship. If you have questions about any subject(s) you can follow the best during an internship or if you have trouble planning your curriculum, you can contact the study advisors. The student counselors can help you as well.
