And we are proud of that!
About the Bachelor's programme in Theology
The programme offers students a broad and challenging introduction to theology. They study religious texts and historical sources, including in their original languages, and learn to analyse and interpret them critically. In doing so, they examine the political, social and cultural contexts in which Christianity, Judaism and Islam originated, and discover how these religions have shaped today's world.
In addition, students delve into current social challenges of the 21st century. These include the impact of climate change, the ethics surrounding genetic manipulation and artificial intelligence, and fundamental questions such as: when does human life begin, and when does it end? Theology provides a framework for reflecting on these issues and developing a well-founded vision.
