‘School class party guide’ is used to fight the exclusion of children
08 December 2020
More than 10% of primary school children get bullied or are excluded. If a child never gets invited to a birthday party, that is an important sign that they are being excluded. That is why UG pedagogues, together with vulnerable children’s charity Stichting Kinderpostzegels, have set up the project ‘Klassenfeestjes’ (Class Parties). In this project, all children are invited to a class party, so that no-one is left out. The goal is to take a stand against social exclusion in a fun and inconspicuous way. In early December, the 1,000th guide explaining how to throw a class party was downloaded.
