Machine learning algorithm helps in adrenal cancer diagnosis
After 10 years from conception to publication the renowned journal The Lancet Diabetes & Endocrinology published the results of a large scale prospectieve study to which Michael Biehl (Intelligent Systems Group) has contributed.
It validates our interpretable and transparent machine learning based classifier for the differential diagnosis of adrenal tumors and paves the way to one of the first applications of a machine learning algorithm in actual clinical practice.
