A double top score for UG philosophy bachelors -again!
The Dutch Higher Education Guide 2019, which was published today, has awarded the Top Degree Programme label to both of our philosophy bachelor degree programmes again.
Not only have these programmes been labeled Top, the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Groningen's programmes have also been ranked first by the Dutch Higher Education Guide (and by Elsevier's Best Studies) with a total score of 80 points for the Dutch Philosophy bachelor's programme and 76 for the English-taught combination programme Philosophy of a Specific Discipline again.
This result revalidates that our students are still very satisfied with the quality of education of these programmes. Our lecturers' work has been judged very high in student evaluations for more than a decade.
The Dutch Higher Education Guide is published yearly by the Centre for Higher Education Information (Dutch: CHOI) and is intended for secondary school pupils and deans who wish to find out more about university Bachelor's degree programmes. The assessments in the Keuzegids are based on student evaluations (National Student Survey), data from the national degree programme database Studiekeuze123 and NVAO visitation reports.
