Title: Advances in diffusion MRI
Abstract:
Diffusion MRI is nowadays a standard clinical tool. However, during the past decade, many improvements have been established with respect to modelling diffusion. In this talk, some of these improvements will be discussed. In particular, we will focus on the concept of diffusion kurtosis MRI and elaborated on its model, properties and clinical relevance. Furthermore, a novel super-resolution method will be explained to retrieve diffusion images with high spatial resolution in a short time frame. Finally, some recent advances on tractography based on constrained spherical deconvolution will be presented.
