New Unifocus: Klaas Knot on economics; the effect of light on sleep; and a portrait of Aletta Jacobs
The new Unifocus, the video magazine of the University of Groningen, is online. In this week's edition:
- Stagnation and movement. Klaas Knot, President of the Dutch National Bank (DNB) and Professor at the University of Groningen, on the interaction between economics and financial policy.
- The effect of light on sleep. Moniek Geerdink is researching the direct effect of various types of light during the day on the quality of sleep.
- For Infinity: Aletta Jacobs. A portrait of this famous representative of the first feminist wave and the first female student in The Netherlands.
Each episode of the biweekly online video magazine Unifocus includes three items related to the University of Groningen, in the fields of research and society, student life, teaching, policy and internationalization.
