The University of Groningen celebrated its 400th anniversary in 2014 with a festive programme from 15 May until 15 June, themed ‘For Infinity (400)’. Questions such as: What is it that makes the University what it is today: a teaching and research institution of stature?, and Which people, ideas and events played an important role in the past?
