The University of Groningen celebrated its 400th anniversary in 2014 with a festive programme from 15 May until 15 June, themed ‘For Infinity (400)’. Questions such as: What is it that makes the University what it is today: a teaching and research institution of stature?, and Which people, ideas and events played an important role in the past? Someone who should certainly be remembered is Aletta Jacobs.

The weekly online video magazine Unifocus highlights topics related to the University of Groningen in the fields of research and society, student life, teaching, policy and internationalization.
