A brand new and exciting opportunity: consultancy internship project in Tanzania
The Careers Company offers a brand new and exciting opportunity available on a unique basis to Faculty of Economics and Business and Newcastle University Business School students.
It offers students a chance to undertake a challenging four-week project-based internship with the Florentina Foundaton in North of Tanzania, under supervision of the Careers Company. The Florentina foundations contributes to the local communities in a variety of ways. Students will undertake project-based work within one of the activities that might me most interesting for business students and this is the focus on the small scale enterprises and Micro Finance activities.
In two teams students can focus on three levels: the individual (consumers and producers), the local community (availability, distribution and const & benefit) and at the Elizabeth center level.
This project will help the foundation and will also contribute to research on how local economic development can be stimulated.
There are just four places available – two for FEB students and two NewCastle students - and so this is a highly competitive programme.
For more information contact Elise Kamphuis of the Careers Company, tel: 050-3637182, email: careerscompany.feb rug.nl
To apply: please email your motivation letter and CV to careerscompany.feb@rug.nl no later than 23 May 2014.
