Setting Goals for Finding a Summer Internship
As we enter 2012, Many people think about their personal and professional goals for the New Year. Each year they find that their personal goals are pretty much the same - lose weight, make more money, spend more time with my family, and begin living a healthier lifestyle.
Maybe some of those repeating goals come back because there is no specific plan to helping to achieve them. So time to take action and make yourself successful!
If you are looking to find an internship for the summer, you too are going to have to set some goals and come up with a plan. To assist you, here are the 5 steps to take!
1. Do a thorough self-assessment.(Know Thyself!)
2. Do research on career options.
3. Decide on which internship(s) you'd like to do.
4. Take action and apply.
5. Get accepted into an internship program.
