FEB runner up in Institution Top 10 of ESB magazine


The FEB made it second place in the yearly ranking of "the best Dutch economics and business faculties" in ESB magazine (Economisch Statistische Berichten / Economic Statistical Messages). Furthermore, two economists of the Faculty of Economics and Business made it to the top 10 of "the 40 best Dutch economists" of ESB: prof.dr. Bernard Nijstad (7th) en prof.dr. Peter Verhoef (9th).
Other FEB economists in the top 40 are: prof.dr. Ruud Teunter (24th), prof.dr. Onne Janssen (25th), prof.dr. Gerben van der Vegt (26th) prof.dr. Bert Scholtens (30th), prof.dr. Eric Molleman (31th), prof.dr.ir. Gerard Gaalman (32nd) and prof.dr. Dirk Pieter van Donk (39th).
Every year, the ESB publishes a ranking of the 40 best Dutch economists and top 10 of Dutch institutes, according to their scientific performance in the past few years. The ESB ranking is based on the amount and importance of international scientific publications by the participants in a particular period. The ranking started in 1980. Over the years, the ranking has gained significant importance among economists.
