Elsevier: BSc Business Administration and Economics of Taxation number 1 in the Netherlands
The Bachelor’s degree programmes in Business Administration (Bedrijfskunde) and Economics of Taxation (Fiscale Economie) of the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Groningen have achieved some of the highest scores in the annual Elsevier Education Survey. The students of Business Administration and Economics of Taxation have given their degree programmes a mark of 7.0. This puts both degree programmes in first place, of five universities.
For its annual research into ‘The Best Degree Programmes’, Elsevier magazine questioned current students at Dutch universities on matters related to teaching, facilities, lecturers, exams, and communication. Other FEB programmes that were reviewed by students are economics, taking fourth place (of 9) with a total score of 7.0, and econometrics taking third place (of 6) with a score of 7.1.
In the business administration review, the positive items that really stand out are availability of lecturers, writing skills and facilities, such as computers and practicals. Students of Economics of Taxation especially appreciate their lecturers, the system of examinations and also the facilities.

Guido Berends and Hylke Dijkstra win FEB Research Awards 2023
