Workshop Financial Systems and Macroeconomics
CIBIF Workshop on Financial Systems and Macroeconomics
Friday April 9, 2010 Venue: Het Kasteel, Melkweg 1, Groningen |
Organizers: Jan Jacobs and Michael Koetter Registration via Astrid Beerta ( a.beerta rug.nl ) |
The ongoing turmoil in global financial systems continues to dominate the agenda of policy makers concerned with macroeconomic prudential policies as well as supervisors and regulators. This workshop seeks to serve as a platform (primarily) to RUG staff and selected master students to present and discuss their work on related topics to and with each other. In particular, we seek to also spark the dialogue with adjunct faculty from the policy makers domain, Frank Smets (ECB), Klaas Knot (Ministry of Finance) and Kasper Roszbach (Riksbank Sweden), to combine academic views with policy makers necessities.
