Djamila Boulil wins Thesis Award 2019 Fund for Cultural Management
In order to stimulate the quality of management practices in the cultural and creative sectors and to offer opportunities to young researchers, the Cultural Management Fund of the University of Antwerp alternatively awards a prize to the best Master's thesis and doctoral thesis in the field of cultural management and policy. This year’s winner is Djamila Boulil, alumna of the Research Master Cultural Leadership who’s thesis is titled 'All in This Together. A Social Network Study into International Cultural Exchange'.

About Djamila Boulil
Boulil (1994) is a ‘Groninger’ in heart and soul. She was raised in Ten Boer, a village in the province of Groningen. In her spare time she likes to cook and travel. During her studies she enjoyed working in the night life of Groningen, but this ended because of the outbreak of COVID-19. She now works for the Move Foundation, an organization that promotes equal opportunities for children and young people (10-16 years) by helping them to set up social projects. She also temporarily teaches at the Faculty of Arts as a lecturer Entrepreneurship & Leadership at the Career Minor.
The Fund for Cultural Management
For this year's award, the Fund for Cultural Management received a variety of applications from various countries, including England, Serbia, the Netherlands and Belgium. The thesis prize is associated with a sum of €2,500.
