UG’s Rector Magnificus Prof. Cisca Wijmenga was very pleased with the broad topics and lively interactions of the event. She spoke warmly to the audience and stressed the importance of the establishment of the Schools of Science and Society. She found this Pitch Event a perfect example of how different academic disciplines can meet and join forces for the benefit of everyone.

Prof. Ming Cao, director of the Jantina Tammes School, was especially happy with the strong interest from all faculties. 'This event is the beginning of a range of research, education and public engagement events that the school will organize in 2023. Stay tuned and join us!'
