Traffic disruption Zernikelaan
Work is continuing on Zernikelaan. Now that there is less traffic on the Zernike Campus, it has been decided to do some of the work that was planned for next year. Because of this there is traffic nuisance in the Mid and Northern section of the Zernikelaan. The diversion route for bus traffic will also be maintained throughout the summe r. As a result, the majority of the renovated Zernikelaan will be completed this year.
Zernikelaan-North
In the coming weeks, work will be carried out at the intersection of Professor Uilkensweg and Pondematen. From 9 June to 19 July 2020, traffic on the northern part of Zernikelaan will have to detour via Professor Uilkensweg and the Bunders. All buildings are accessible.
Zernikelaan-Mid section & bus traffic diversion
An extra part of the bus lane is being renovated. For this purpose, the blockage of the bus lane will be extended to the Kadijk and will last until 28 August 2020. The buses will run via the Reitdiep and Blauwborgje to the bus junction. Local traffic for the buildings on the Nijenborgh drive via the Zernikeplein, the Grauwelerie and Nijenborgh. Visitors are advised to use P4. The diversion for cyclists via the Paddepoelsterweg remains in effect until August 28.
