One of the activities open to all focussed on training opportunities for staff not on the tenure track and a Q&A session with HR representatives during which, for example, regulations concerning extensions following life events were discussed. Additionally, we hosted a workshop organized by the Scholierenakademie on disseminating research among primary and secondary school students.

YESS BSS also organized skills workshops for members only, for example on science blogging and writing grant applications, and an in-depth brainstorm session with the Scholierenacademie.
