Input to Royal HaskoningDHV's initiative 'de energieversnelling'

Project members Linda Steg and Goda Perlaviciute shared their insights from research with private partner Royal HaskoningDHV to support their initiative 'de energieversnelling'. In short, environmental psychological research shows that four values critically influence attitudes and behavior with regard to energy issues: hedonic (focus on personal comfort and pleasure), egoistic (focus on implications for own weatlh and status), altruistic (focus on the welfare of others), and biospheric (focus on the welfare of nature and environment) values.
