DORP - Welcome to the Village

Festivals can be regarded as temporary mini-societies in which new ideas could be tested. At the Welcome to the Village festival in Leeuwarden (and in future also TT Assen, Into the Great Wide Open, Eurosonic, and other festivals) we run various projects that focus on promoting more sustainable behaviour at the festival and thereafter. These projects focus on topics like waste, recycling, energy use, transportation and food, and uses applied, (quasi-) experimental, quantitative as well as qualitative methods.
