Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1) What is the course attendance policy?

You are expected to maintain a good level of attendance to your course or programme of study. You should engage with all formal teaching and learning activities.

2) What do I do in case of a timetable clash?

Option 1: Switch one of the two courses for another course. Mind that your home university needs to agree to the changes as they might have an influence on your degree programme!
- Before Mobility: send an updated Course Selection Form to the Mobility Office via email.
- During Mobility: send the Course Selection Form During Mobility to the Mobility Office via email.

Option 2: (Not recommended) Keep both courses and skip the lectures of one of the courses. The lectures are not mandatory, but they will give you a better understanding of the subject and the teachers often ask questions about the lectures in the exam. Note: this is only possible for general lectures and not for practical courses!

3) What do I do in case of an exam conflict (two clashing exams)?

Option 1: If possible, switch one of the two courses for another course. Mind that your home university needs to agree to the changes as they might have an influence on your degree programme!
- Before Mobility: send an updated Course Selection Form to the Mobility Office via email.
- During Mobility: send the Course Selection Form During Mobility to the Mobility Office via email.

Option 2: Deregister from the first exam of one of the two courses and register for the resit instead. The resit will then be your first and only try. Please go to the Student Service Desk and arrange this accordingly.
