Matching Day Theology and Religious Studies

When:Mo 12-06-2017 10:00 - 14:00
Where:Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies, Oude Boteringestraat 38, Groningen

On Monday June 12, the Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies organizes a so called Matching Day for Dutch prospective BA students. Dutch prospective students are officially required to follow a matching activity to assess whether they have chosen a programme that suits them. It is not compulsory for non-Dutch students, but of course you are welcome to join us and meet your future fellow students!

In the morning, you will receive information on how to start with your studies, you can follow a sample lecture, and learn more about the activities of student association Gerardus van der Leeuw.

In the afternoon, you can meet up with the mentor for international BA students. During your studies, the mentors for international students organize little outings and help you get settled in Groningen.

Next to this mentor, you will also meet the regular mentors who will guide you through your first year. These mentors are senior students who have received special training. Every mentor group will have a maximum of ten first-year students and two mentors. In a series of eight meetings, the mentors will familiarize you with the Faculty. They will also help you and provide advice about studying/learning to study.
