Hello! My name is Franzisca Beeken and I am finishing my MA in Religion, Conflict and Globalization. A few years ago, I moved from Germany to Groningen for my BA in International Relations. Being an international student myself, I have probably experienced most of the struggles you might be facing right now or in the future, from administrative and organizational issues to finding the best coffee places nearby the faculty. I am happy to answer all questions you may have regarding the MA programme or living in Groningen more generally.
Hello everyone, my name is Jorrit Haarman and I did my Bachelor's in Religious Studies. At the moment I’m doing master's in Religion, Health and Wellbeing: Spiritual Care. I really enjoy my studies, so I don’t regret my choice. To help you in the process of making the right choice, I'm happy to answer questions you might have. In this way, I hope to give you a realistic perspective on the programme, but also on our faculty (which is a big asset of the programme). Should you have any questions for me, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Hi, my name is Sophia Löwe , I am a Research Master's student in Theology and Religious Studies. My current focus points lie within the fields of secularism, gender and race. As a mentor for Master’s students, I would like to provide an open ear and a helping hand. I therefore would be happy to jump in with any sort of need, ranging from a good tip for where to get good coffee, to helping discuss issues with tasks, teachers or landlords, or listening to complaints about Dutch weather. Please feel free to contact me with anything!
Hi everyone, my name is Arie-Pieter Schep , and I am a master’s student in Religion and Pluralism: Ancient and Modern. I did my Bachelor's in Theology at this faculty. I really enjoy the master Religion and Pluralism, because it enriches my view of the diversity of early Christianity and the relationships between the Ancient World, Judaism, Christianity and Islam. If you have any questions about the master’s programme, just ask me. I am happy to answer them.
