Reaching the Feringa Building

Please note modified travel routes!

Access to the Zernike Campus will be modified on Friday, June 14, and Monday, June 17, due to work on the train tracks.

The options for reaching the Feringa Building are as follows:

Public transportation

No trains run to and from Groningen Main Station on these days. Trains terminate at Groningen Europapark station. Trains from Friesland terminate in Zuidhorn.

The closest bus stop to the Feringa Building is Crematoriumlaan.

From Europapark you can travel further to the campus with:

  • Bus line 2 towards Zernike Campus (direct connection, 20 minutes travel time).

From Zuidhorn you can travel further to the campus with:

  • Bus line 2 towards Zernike Campus (direct connection, 15 minutes travel time).

Plan your trip in advance via 9292.nl or a travel planner app for up-to-date information and departure times.

Biking

You may also choose to bike to the Feringa Building.

There are plenty of bike racks outside the building. It is also possible to park under the Feringa Building in the bicycle basement until enough parking spaces are available.

Car

To avoid crowds, we recommend using a P+R location:

P+R Reitdiep. Travel directly by bus line 1 or 2 to Zernike Campus.

P+R Hoogkerk. Travel directly by bus line 109 to Zernike Campus (about 12 minutes travel time).

In case you are impaired or you cannot travel by public transport or bike, please register for a parking spot (instructions upon registration). These are very limited.
