RICS accreditation for Master Real Estate Studies in Groningen


The Master in Real Estate Studies of the University of Groningen has been granted the course accreditation by RICS, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, for the period 2016-2020.
RICS is a professional body that accredits professionals within the land, property and construction sectors worldwide. RICS works in partnership with universities to ensure that accredited degree courses are relevant to Real Estate industry. This means that when you study on an accredited degree this will be recognised by employers as the benchmark of quality. The Master Real Estate Studies in Groningen is the only fulltime academic programme in the Netherlands with this accreditation.
Master in Real Estate Studies
The Master in Real Estate Studies integrates Geography & Planning and Economics & Finance. It prepares real estate professionals who are trained in integrating finance and urban economics with knowledge of local institutions of planning and development. The Master of Real Estate Studies specifically combines theory and applied econometrics.
Real Estate Centre
The Master is part of the Real Estate Centre (REC) in the Department of Economic Geography of the Faculty of Spatial Sciences, and located in one of the world’s top Schools in Regional Science. The Centre was established in 2015 to further initiate and coordinate academic research in real estate, and to facilitate University-Industry relationships.
