Starting dates in the bachelor programmes

This policy of FSS applies to academic years 2016-2017 and further.

There are three extra application dates you can apply for our bachelor programmes besides the 1st of September: November 1, February 1 and April 1. See below several different groups of students and which rules apply to them.

Students in the propaedeutical phase (60 ECTS of the first year)
  • Enrollment after September 1 is not possible for none FSS-students and with that not possible for non UG-students.  Only based on the hardship clause can these students be admitted on the other three application dates (November 1, February 1 and April 1).
  • Enrollment after September 1 on one of the three other application dates is possible for students who have been enrolled previously for the same programme of FSS.
Students in the post-propaedeutical phase (120 ECTS of the second and third year)
  • Enrollment after September 1 is not possible for none FSS-students and with that not possible for non UG-students.  Only based on the hardship clause can these students be admitted on the other three application dates (November 1, February 1 and April 1).
  • Enrollment after September 1 on one of the three other application dates is possible for students who have been enrolled previously for the same programme of FSS.
Pre-master students
  • Pre-master students can enroll on the 1st of September and apply on the three other application dates (November 1, February 1 and April 1).
  • The master coordinator develops the pre-master programme with the student and the Education Office takes care of the enrollment.

  • Students enrolled in a subsidiary course can enroll on the 1st of September and apply on the three other application dates (November 1, February 1 and April 1).

General information

Students can contact the study advisors for information about enrollment after the 1st of September. They can also put in a request for admission with them (when applicable). The admission board of the programme decides about this after advice of the study advisors.
