Faculty of Economics and Business economists Tristan Kohl, Steven Brakman, and Harry Garretsen analysed what would happen to UK trade after it leaves the European Union.
The results are stark: there is no scenario that is positive for trade. The best the UK can hope for is a deal that essentially mimics what it currently has as an EU member.
