What people say

But don’t take our word for it, we asked students from different EM programmes about their experiences of going abroad and delving deeper into the subjects they love.

“Being part of the Erasmus Mundus program ‘Religious Diversity in a Globalised World’ has been one of the best experiences of my life. A classroom filled with students from all over the world creates a unique space in which (academic) discussions take place that never would have taken place in a classroom full of Dutch people. Although this was great, it’s been mainly the social aspect of the EM program that really changed my life. I’ve met people from a variety of countries and cultures and have made some really dear friends. I’ve visited one EM friend in Belfast, another in Mexico City, and am planning on visiting another one in Georgia next spring. The EM program has opened up my world in a way that no other programme could have done.”
