Welcome at the Bachelor's Open Day!
Welcome at the Bachelor's Open Day!

Our Bachelor Open Day is approaching! On Saturday 29 October 2022, you can join presentations and chat with our professors and current students in person. Some programmes also offer online information sessions so make sure to check the website. Here, you can find several of our previous blogs about the Bachelor Open Day, which will hopefully give you some more information on what to expect and how to prepare!

#1: The Bachelor’s Open Day is Back in Person!

From programme-specific presentations to general sessions and on studying at the UG to information booths and interactive fun, the Open Day is the best way to experience a day in the life of a student at the UG. In this blog, Luc has shared some tips on how to prepare for the Open Day and how to experience this kind of event.

#2: Jouw perfecte invulling van de Bachelor Open Dag

Maimoena has also shared some tips on what to do during the Open Day but this time the blog is in Dutch! She talks about where some of the UG’s buildings are in Groningen and the ways you can get there. Moreover, she shares where you can find the best spots for food, such as FLFL, and what other fun activities that are not study-related you can do during the day.

#3: Questions to ask when you’re looking for a Bachelor’s programme

Lastly, Avital has shared some questions that are great to ask during the Open Day. Inform about what the best courses of a programme are, what some challenges are that might occur, or what a typical week looks like. It is always handy to have some questions on hand!

We hope this blog has informed you about what you can expect from the day and what you can do to prepare. For more information on the Bachelor Open Day you can go to this page. Will we see you at the UG soon?

Hylke

Hiya! I’m Hylke, a Dutch MA English Literature student. People often ask me if I’m Frisian, but sadly I’m not; I just have a Frisian name. I love reading, writing, meeting with friends, and the colour yellow, so much so that I take pictures of every yellow wall I can find!
