The new academic year starts next week. Here is a checklist of some important things to remember!

1. Make sure you have achieved all requirements in your conditional offer

2. Make sure you have paid your tuition fee

3. Make sure you have a room, or at least a place to stay

4. Get your BSN and open a bank account

5. Decide how you will be getting around the city, whether by bike, walking or public transport?

6. Make sure to have a look at Brightspace (there might be some readings you need to do before the first day of class) 

7. Do you need a book or a reader that is not available on Smartcat? Make sure to order them so they arrive in time!

8. Make sure to read the syllabus for each course on Brightspace

9. Make sure you have a  look at your timetable 

10. Pick up your student card. You will need it to access the UB and certain areas around the university! 

11. Connect to the eduroam wifi network

12. Register yourself with a GP and a Pharmacy (make sure it is close to where you live) so that your doctor knows where to send your prescription! 

13. Join a study or student association! 

14. Last but not least, make sure to have fun! These are the best times in life <3
