You must apply to Studielink by 15 January at the latest if you wish to be considered for selection for a fixed quota programme.

Providing extra information

You may be required to provide extra information before 15 January. This depends on the fixed quota programme you are applying for.

Go to the programme page for more information about the selection criteria:

Previous education outside the Netherlands

If your previous education was outside the Netherlands, you must upload all the required documents to the Online Application System (OAS) by 15 January. These documents are needed to validate your diploma. You will not be eligible for the selection procedure if your diploma has not been validated.

More information about admission with a non-Dutch diploma is available in the Admissions guide.

Missed deadline due to extenuating circumstances

If you missed the deadline due to extenuating circumstances, submit the form Selection and Placement to request admission to the selection procedure as soon after 15 January as possible. You must provide evidence of why you were unable to apply through Studielink before 15 January. The University of Groningen will decide whether to honour your request.

Don't forget to submit the required documentary evidence, such as the e-mail you were sent by Studielink.

  • Your request will not be processed if the selection procedure for the programme concerned has already started.
  • Not having had a DigiD account is not a valid reason.
